The 2024 edition of the Deji Alli ARM Young Talent Award has produced seven winners who will get N12 million in prize money.
In a statement, the organisers of the competition disclosed that the seven firms that emerged winners were chosen after a thorough evaluation process.
The successful companies include Goods and Services 360 Ltd, established by Jane Ekeh; Smokeless Briquettes Ltd, owned by Eunice Adewale; 10MG Pharma, founded by Odianosen Peter; 0J Technologies Ltd, founded by Joseph Ojighoro; Zendit Technologies Ltd, founded by Abiodun Falomo, and Sanwo Technologies Ltd, founded by Ibrahim Oredola, etc.
The organizers also emphasized the significant role of women in driving innovation and change in the entrepreneurial sphere, as demonstrated by the majority of women-led ventures among the top three winners.
The winners of DAAYTA 2024 will receive funding and support to further develop and expand their businesses.
It added that its jury chose the seven most outstanding businesses from the final top twelve, benefiting from DAAYTA’s preparatory workshops.
The Deji Alli ARM Young Talent Award is an annual competition aimed at identifying, supporting, and showcasing innovative young entrepreneurs in Nigeria.
Through funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities, DAAYTA empowers emerging entrepreneurs to realise their full potential and make meaningful contributions to society.
