As the September 21 governorship election draws near, the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Marvellous Omobayo, has received a mobiliser for the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Akoko-Edo Local Government Area, Zika Momodu, into the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Momodu declared his support for the electoral victory of the PDP candidate, Dr. Asue Ighodalo, and his running mate, Osarodion Ogie, when the deputy governor received members of the Afemai Youth Movement, AYM, on a courtesy visit to his office.
Omobayo assured Edo youths of positive inclusion in the administration of Asue Ighodalo, if elected Governor of Edo State.
While describing Ighodalo as the most sellable candidate in the upcoming governorship election, Omobayo charged members of the AYM to deploy their strength to ensure Ighodalo emerged victorious at the poll.
Earlier, the leader of AYM, Misa Shakar, decorated the deputy governor as the grand patron of the group.
