The former member of P-Square, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr. P, has written an open letter to his brother Paul Okoye, better known by his stage name Rudeboy, regarding a recent argument that resulted in their second breakup.
Recall how the band, which is made up of Rudeboy and Mr. P, his twin brother, first broke up in 2016 and then got back together in 2021.
Nonetheless, Rudeboy acknowledged that the group had broken up once more in an interview published last month, though he did not explain.
In the interview, Rudeboy insisted that he wrote the majority of the group's hit songs and said that the success of the group was as a result of his work.
Reacting, Mr P in an open letter he published on his verified Facebook page on Monday, accused his brother of disrespecting his talent, wife, and even his family.
The letter partly reads: “My dear brother Paul, Just like I have told you several times, I am not in any competition with you or anybody else.
"However, seeing you grant countless interviews where you constantly discredit my efforts in the group that we both created and built together really speaks volumes.
"In your recent interviews, you claimed that you wrote and sang 99% of all P-SQUARE songs and discredited me by saying that our song with TI “EjeaJo,” which I wrote, was a failure. You went as far as using the YouTube views to discredit me once again."
