The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has announced its schedule for the upcoming party elective national convention, set for November 15 and 16.
This timetable, which was signed by the party's National Organising Secretary, Umar Bature, was released on Sunday in Abuja.
According to the schedule, the sale of nomination and expression of interest forms will begin on September 3 and conclude on September 22, with completed forms due by September 26.
The screening of candidates is slated for September 30, followed by the announcement of approved candidates on October 3 and a review of screening appeals on October 6.
The final list of candidates will be published on October 10. The national convention will occur on November 15 and 16, with the handover anticipated between December 1 and December 8.
