The Nigeria Police Force NPF has started an initiative to teach its employees digital skills.In a communiqué sent to newsmen, Kano State Police Commissioner CP Mamman Dauda made this disclosure.
He claimed that the training was being provided in conjunction with an independent media organization to improve their knowledge of contemporary communication tools.
The program's mission was to provide police officers with cutting-edge tools and methods for digital communication, social media administration, content creation, and data analysis, according to the statement.
According to him, the program is made to give participants the skills and experience they need to interact with the public, react to emergencies, and produce, edit, fact-check, and manage social media content for the police command.
The CP stated, "It is thought that by improving our police officers' digital skills, we can provide better and more efficient services to the good people of Kano State.
He exhorted the attendees to concentrate harder to meet the goals they had been given.
