A Pro-Democracy group, ‘Kwara Must Change’, said the group would mobilized the youths of the state to product next governor.
The group which disclosed that it rallied over 70 youth groups seek to rescue Kwara State from the Saraki dynasty.
They stressed that the mission was to sustain the progressive order inline with collective responsibility, noting that there’s no success without the successor.
Abdulrazaq Hamzat, the organizer, stated in a statement that "only those who know the value of the revolution will do whatever it takes to sustain it," and that "the task of sustaining the gains of 'otoge' should be treated with equal determination as the 'Otoge' revolution itself."
As stated by Hamzat, the group "will not be spectators in the process and we are pleased to say that we have been following public conversation on the direction the state should head in 2027."
"Otoge" must produce a successor before the revolutionary change can be considered successful, according to Hamzat, who went on to say that the youngsters of Kwara will decide the state's future course, just as they did in 2019, and we shall.”
