Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, better known as Davido, wore custom cufflinks featuring an image of his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, to pay tribute to him on his wedding day.
The artist posted a picture of the cufflinks on his Instagram story on Sunday during his ongoing white wedding to his long-time partner, Chioma Rowland, in Miami, United States.
A photo of the late Ifeanyi Adeleke was visible in Davido’s cufflinks. Davido’s white wedding follows a traditional ceremony held in 2024 and has attracted prominent personalities from Nigeria's business, political, and entertainment sectors to Miami, including Nigerian music stars like Adekunle Gold, Teni, and Zlatan Ibile, who also attended the couple's pre-wedding dinner.
Chioma has expressed her appreciation for Davido's support, stating, “David cares about my dreams.” Davido disclosed that the total cost of the wedding was $3.7 million, remarking, “We spent $3.7 million in cash. You should know what we are doing. It’s crazy.”
