Newly appointed Super Eagles coach, Finidi George, has outlined two key conditions for players aspiring to represent the national team.
Speaking to the media after his unveiling in Abuja, Finidi emphasized the importance of consistent club performance and unwavering commitment to the Super Eagles.
"Selection of players? You have to be playing at your club and you must have that commitment," Finidi asserted.
He underscored the significance of the national team pledge and reiterated his dedication to prioritizing Nigeria.
"For me, Nigeria is first because I have been out of this country and I know the treatment we get outside of this country. I put Nigeria first and that is the same commitment and loyalty from each and every player that is invited. If you can do that, you are good to go."
Finidi's clear and concise criteria are expected to shape the future of the Super Eagles squad, fostering a culture of consistent performance and unwavering dedication to the national colors.
