The Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Architect Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, has introduced the Renewed Hope Portal, providing Nigerians with easier and more convenient access to participate in the federal government’s mass housing programs.
Dangiwa, who unveiled the portal in Abuja yesterday, also stated that the platform offers an online, transparent, and user-friendly web application for selling homes under the Renewed Hope Cities and Estates Programme of the ministry, which was earlier initiated by President Tinubu this year.
The minister emphasized that this event demonstrates the ministry's support for integrating a more efficient and forward-looking housing platform, building on lessons learned from previous initiatives.
He highlighted that the housing platform will also gather essential data to implement a Demand-Driven Strategy for Housing, assessing housing needs in different locations and demographics nationwide.
"We pledged to facilitate technology systems and private sector-led initiatives to simplify the homeownership process for Nigerians.
Today, we are taking a significant step towards fulfilling that pledge with the launch of the Renewed Hope Housing Platform."
The platform features a user-friendly interface to ensure a smooth journey to homeownership, with a seamless and secure registration process and identity verification.
It allows potential homeowners to efficiently search for properties using various filters, ensuring they find homes that meet their specific needs.
