Before officially recognizing Nigerian chef Hilda Baci as the world record holder for marathon cooking, the Guinness World Records said it will examine her record attempt.
After querying the Guinness World Records why Baci's attempt hasn't yet been confirmed, Twitter user @AlexanderDGreat mentioned the organization in his tweet.
Baci has cooked for 91 hours and 21 minutes to surpass the previous record as of 11:22am on Monday set by an Indian chef, Lata Tondon in 2019.
At the Amore Gardens, Baci began her four-day cooking challenge on May 11.
To extend the record, the 27-year-old will continue to cook until the 96th hour.
"Why doesn't @GWR show or mention Hilda's cook-a-ton? Can't see anything on their pages (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube)," AlexanderDGreat questioned.
The Guinness World Records said that it was aware of Baci's attempt but that her confirmation was still being looked into.
