Google to Allow Users Download Apps Simultaneously on Play Store

Google has finally rolled out a long-awaited feature to allow simultaneous app downloads on the Play Store.

This means you can download multiple apps at once, instead of waiting for one to finish before another can begin.

According to 9to5Google on Monday, this functionality has been in testing for several years, and it appears Google is finally making it widely available.

While previously you had to wait for one app to download entirely before another could start, you can now download and install two apps concurrently.

It's important to note that for now, this feature seems to be limited to new app installations and only works for two apps at a time. Additionally, it doesn't currently apply to app updates.

However, this is still a significant improvement for users who frequently download multiple apps at once, especially when setting up a new phone or tablet.

Hopefully, this is just the first step, and Google will expand this functionality in the future to allow for simultaneous downloads of more than two apps and include app updates.
