KOGI- Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Ododo has appointed former Kogi Hotels and Tourism Board Chairman Prince Philip Orebiyi as the General Manager (GM) of the board.
The governor also made Bilkisu Ogueyi, the former general manager, the new chairman of the board.
In a statement released in Lokoja and provided to reporters, Dr. Folashade Ayoade, the Secretary to the Government, revealed this.
The governor's pledge to reposition hotels and the state's tourism industry, according to Ayoade, was consistent with the reorganization.
He also announced the appointment of Dr. Bashir Tenuche as the Director General, of Kogi State Information Communication Technology Development Agency.
The statement added: “The governor congratulated the appointees on their new assignment and urged them to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their duties.”
