Aiyadatiwa affirmed that the ruling APC would remain the party to beat in Ondo State, saying no opposition had the structure to defeat him in the November 16 governorship election.
The Ondo Primary Election Appeal Committee, on Tueday, kicked against various petitions challenging the victory of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa in the April 20 governorship primary of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State.
The Chairman of the Committee Mohammed Abubakar, said this in Abuja when he submitted the committee's report, to the APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje.
Abubakar confirmed that the committee received six petitions from aggrieved aspirants after the announcement of the results.
He said, “We gave them time but at the end of the day, we tried to consider the evidence or lack thereof and submit the reports to the National Working Committee of the parts."
While appreciating their efforts, Ganduje declared that the ruling party was battle-ready to retain its seat ahead of the November 16 governorship poll.
