Prominent filmmakers Jacques Doillon and Benoit Jacquot are allegedly being questioned by French police on claims of sexual abuse.
On Monday morning, Jacquot, 77, and Doillon, 80, were spotted arriving at a Paris police station with their attorneys in tow.
The actress and director Judith Godreche has filed formal charges against Doillon and Jacquot for allegedly sexually abusing her as a teenager.
52-year-old claims that from 1986 until 1992, while she was in a relationship with Jacquot, which began when she was 14, he had an unhealthy 'grip' over her.
When she appeared in one of Doillon's movies, she allegedly suffered mistreatment on the set. Each of the men has refuted the accusations.
Fellow actor Isild Le Besco, 41, has also formally accused Jacquot of raping her between 1998 and 2007 during a toxic relationship that started when she was 16 and he was 52.
Actor Julia Roy, 34, has also filed a complaint against him for sexual assault, during a context of violence and moral constraint which lasted several years, a source close to the case said.
The director's lawyers said there had been no need to detain them to question them, and stressed they should be considered innocent until proven guilty.
