Content creator, Kemi Ikuseedun (Kemzmama), often known as Mummy Wa, is ready to release the film 'My Sunshine.'
According to her, the film will premiere on her YouTube channel on October 4, 2024, with a unique blend of romance, friendship, and inspiration based on Korean classics. JJC Skillz, a prominent director, will direct and produce the film, which promises to delight fans of Korean cinema while also providing a novel twist to Nigerian storytelling.
Speaking on the inspiration behind the movie, Ikuseedun said, “I wanted to take things up a notch and offer something that blends different cultural influences. Many of us watch a variety of movies. While I enjoy Nigerian films, I have always had a strong interest in Korean cinema. So, I decided to incorporate elements from what I’ve watched in Korean dramas into ‘My Sunshine’.”
She also expressed her conviction that the picture will make a bold statement in the industry, appealing to audiences that enjoy a variety of genres. "This film differs from what people are used to. It will captivate viewers and, hopefully, inspire others with various preferences to try something new," she said.
The film stars Ikuseedun, Mr Macaroni, Chinedu Ikedieze, alias Aki, Juliana Olayode, and Diva Gold, among others.
