According to accounts, a train and a BRT bus were involved in a fatal collision in Lagos.
The incident happened early on Thursday around Ikeja.
Following the incident, several passengers are feared dead.
It was discovered that the train was closing in while the blue staff bus was attempting to cross. The train's magnet grabbed it from the PWD bus stop and dragged it to Shogunle, where it stopped.
According to witnesses, the stubborn driver refused to stop at the level Crossing when stopped.
Babs, a witness of the disaster, said that the driver resisted the NRC crossing keepers' requests to let him through due of the approaching train. He believed he could get by before the approaching train.
