Atalanta winger Ademola Lookman has been nominated for the Europa League Player of the Week award following his outstanding performances in Atalanta's 3-0 victory against Olympic Marseille, securing their place in the tournament's final.
The Nigerian international played a pivotal role in the win, scoring a goal and providing an assist.
Lookman opened the scoring in the 30th minute after being set up by Charles De Ketelaere. He then turned provider in the second half, assisting Matteo Ruggeri's goal.
Lookman's contributions bring his season tally to 20 goal involvements (12 goals and eight assists) for Atalanta.
He will compete with AS Roma's Mile Svilar for the Player of the Week accolade.
Atalanta will face Bayer Leverkusen in the Europa League final, set to take place in Dublin on Wednesday, May 22nd.
