Nigerian street-hop singer Portable has officially moved to Canada after obtaining a 10-year work permit.
The artist, known for his lively and often provocative image, had already announced his permission acceptance, but he stayed in Nigeria for over three months before making the trip.
Portable recently used social media to celebrate his arrival in Canada, releasing happy images and videos during a visit to the mayor's office in Brampton, Ontario.
He was accompanied by his staff and thanked the Canadian government and the City of Brampton for their warm welcome and assistance.
In his post, Portable also revealed that he received a special award from the city, describing the moment as a significant milestone in his career.
“Finally Portable Omolalomi ZAZUU in Canada. I just want to say thank you to the Canadian government and the city of Brampton for the Corporation of the City of Brampton award,” he wrote.
Portable had gleefully posted his enthusiasm on social media after obtaining a 10-year work permit in Canada.
The happy artist, best known for his hit tune "Zazoo," came to Instagram to share the exciting news with his fans.
He expressed his pleasure at the opportunity to perform in Canada, which will significantly advance his worldwide career.
