Pastor Adeboye Gets New Appointment

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has been appointed Patron of the Ecumenical Synod of Bishops, Archbishops, and Senior Clergy Inc. (ESBAASC).

ESBAASC delivered this declaration during the group's momentous international conference held from August 22 to 25 at the hallowed grounds of Emmanuel Park. 

The appointment, as reported by Church Times, serves as a clarion call for fresh dedication to creating true religious harmony.

The conference, with the significant theme, 'Religious Tolerance in Nigeria and Across the Nations of the World,' dug extensively deep into the current concerns of religious tolerance, analyzing its obstacles and proposing ways for its widespread adoption.

ESBAASC, a coalition of eminent Christian leaders, is a beacon of unity and discourse. It works to bridge gaps between different Christian faiths and promote a culture of religious tolerance and collaboration.

Archbishop Prof. Kehinde Olubunmi, the International Prelate and Chief Host, appointed Pastor Adeboye Patron in a reverent ceremony.

Archbishop Olubunmi emphasized the group's tireless efforts in collaboration with global organizations to promote religious tolerance in Nigeria, with the ambitious goal of extending this culture throughout Africa.

Pastor Joseph Obayemi, RCCG National Overseer Emeritus, represented Pastor Adeboye and delivered a moving speech on Nigeria's historical and current religious scene.

Obayemi said Adeboye's insights and appointment resonate as a clarion call for a renewed commitment to fostering true religious harmony.
