President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Nigeria performed the Lesser Hajj (Umrah) in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
He was accompanied by several high-ranking government officials.
Amongst them are including Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State and Governor Mohammed Bago of Niger State.
Also in attendance is Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State.
The Minister of Budget and Economic Planning Atiku Bagudu, and NNPCL Group Chief Executive Officer Mele Kyari were also in attendance.
Speaking to reporters after performing the Umrah, Tinubu revealed why he came to Saudi to perform Umrah.
He said that he came to Makkah to pray for Nigeria and God's divine guidance.
He also said that his administration was determined to change the negative Nigeria narrative.
Tinubu also said he would deploy various reforms, programmes, and policies that would ultimately benefit the citizens.

President Tinubu's visit to Makkah is a reminder of the deep spiritual connection that many Nigerians have with Islam.
It is also a sign of his commitment to working for the good of all Nigerians, regardless of their religious beliefs.

Tinubu's victory at the poll was knocked by opposition parties.
