Davido narrated the process of picking the songs for the album 'Timeless'
Davido stated to CNN that he recorded roughly 62 songs in order to get ready for his next album.
I had to choose from 62 songs for 'Timeless'. The tracks were initially reduced to 20, then to 17 and 18, the hitmaker tells CNN's African Voices.
The selection of the tracks for the album was a laborious process, according to Davido, as there were many excellent tunes available.

Davido also stated that he had enough new songs for a full album, therefore his follow-up was essentially finished.
