In order to challenge Hilda Baci's current record for the longest cooking marathon by a single person, Nigerian chef Damilola Adeparusi, often known as Chef Dammy, has disclosed plans to do so.
Dammy stated that the completed 120-hour cook was not filed with the Guinness World Record (GWR) and that she was prepared to submit an application for the Guinness World Records in an interview with newsmen on Friday, June 16. She explained the next new challenge, in which she would be cooking for 150 hours.
"What will Chef Dammy do after the 120-hour cook-a-thon has been a topic on many peoples' minds both online and off. What will happen to Chef Dammy once she is well-known and in the public eye? Chef Dammy is willing to explore, so there! I'm open to trying new things in life and experiencing new things. now that everyone is aware of my abilities. It's about time people started allowing me the opportunity to experiment with different methods and abilities, in my opinion.
"Finally, despite several rumors that I didn't participate in the just-ended cooking, my team and I have chosen to take on this new challenge the following month.
"In light of the encouragement I've gotten from supporters, well-wishers, and other highly esteemed members of society. Adeparusi Damilola, also known as Chef Dammy, and my team has agreed to host another cook-a-thon program the following month.
"This time, it will last 150 hours, and it will be properly registered with Guinness World Records. Chef Dammy is returning," she declared.
This comes only four days after Guinness World Records announced Hilda Baci as the new record holder for the longest cooking marathon.
