American rapper, Sean Combs, professionally known as Diddy, has dismissed a $30 million lawsuit filed by record producer Rodney 'Lil Rod' Jones, who accused him of continuous groping and drug-induced r@pe.
Jones filed the suit in February, just weeks before federal officials searched two of Diddy's homes as part of a sex trafficking investigation.
Jones claimed he was told to hire prostitutes and have sex with them for the star's enjoyment, and he had hundreds of hours of video footages confirming Diddy's 'serious unlawful conduct'.
Diddy has denied all the claims of impropriety against him.
At the time, the beleaguered hip-hop artiste was already facing lawsuits from three women and had lost several commercial deals as a result of the allegations.
Diddy, 54, has responded to Jones' second amended lawsuit with new court documents filed in Manhattan Federal Court on Monday, accusing him of 'exploiting' the singer for money.
According to the statement, "Jones' Second Amended Complaint is his third attempt to dress up a routine commercial dispute as a salacious RICO [Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act] conspiracy."
Diddy responded to Jones' assertions that his 'company or property' was harmed owing to non-payment for services rendered on Diddy's 2023 The Love Album: Off The Grid, claiming he failed to prove this under the RICO Act.
The filings also stated Jones never filed a primary claim under the Trafficking Victims Protection Act of 2000, rationalizing that he was forced to do a sex act in return for something of value or was a victim of such an act.
Diddy also alleged that Jones neglected to share facts about the alleged sexual assault and harassment charges he filed against the singer.
