Popular Socialite and Fashionista, Sophia Momodu accuses Afrobeat musician Davido of abandoning their child, Imade Adeleke, for the previous two years.
Momodu's accusation came in reaction to a lawsuit brought against her by Afrobeats musician Davido over custody of their kid.
The statement, was issued on June 22, 2024, by her legal counsel, Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors and Bimpe Ajegbomogun & Co.
It is important to mention that Davido had taken the mother of his first kid to court, requesting unfettered access to Miss Imade.
The artist's lawyers, Dr. Olaniyi Arije, Okey Barrah, and others, filed the motion on April 17, 2024, in the Lagos State High Court.
In response to the case, Sophia maintained that Davido chose not to see their daughter since July 2022, and that she has never refused him the opportunity to see Imade.
She explained that their relationship has two phases: 2014-2017 and 2020-2022. At that time, Davido "provided financial support for their daughter, covering school fees, rent, and other living expenses, including the cars mentioned in the article."
