Priscilla Ojo Hits Back At Naira Marley's Legal Threat

POSTED ON December 15, 2023 •   Entertainment      BY Oluwakemi Ademuyiwa

In a recent social media development, Priscilla Ojo, a prominent social media influencer, has taken issue with singer Naira Marley's legal actions against her mother, actress Iyabo Ojo. The singer accused Iyabo Ojo of defamation and threatened legal consequences over content posted on her Instagram account.

Naira Marley's lawyer, Olalekan Ojo, detailed the accusations made in a September 2023 post, where Iyabo Ojo allegedly implicated the singer in spiritual and physical dealings with the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad.

Responding to the legal threat on her Instagram stories, Priscilla expressed disbelief at the audacity of Naira Marley and questioned his priorities, pointing out ongoing legal matters involving the singer.

Priscilla wrote, "The audacity!!! You want to sue? Sue who LMAOOOOO clowns. The cases you have in court for the boys' catalogue and unpaid royalties have you finished that one? You want to sue who? When they’re legit videos and evidence of you and your gang steadily bullying that young man before he died? Dey play."

She further highlighted the various instances where Iyabo Ojo has actively advocated for justice, including supporting DJ Splash's hospital bills, assisting a young rape victim, and standing up for a young man who was allegedly bullied by his record label before his death.

Priscilla questioned the credibility of those challenging Iyabo Ojo, emphasizing the serious nature of the issues at hand. She defended her mother against accusations of seeking clout and clarified the genuine efforts made to address social injustices.

In her concluding remarks, Priscilla asserted, "And y’all judging someone from a reality show when they’re being told to give drama and spice up the show?? Okay o. One thing is sure. He might not be alive to fight for himself, but I know that his spirit cannot be asleep." The unfolding social media dispute continues to capture public attention as both sides present their perspectives.
