On the rail service between Abuja and Kaduna, the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) has reinstated two more train excursions.
The Manager of the Abuja-Kaduna Train Service (AKTS), Mr. Pascal Nnorli, said this in a statement released by the corporation's management on Saturday.
The extra service, according to him, would start on Sunday.
After one of the trains derailed close to the Abuja station in January, the NRC curtailed trips along the track.
With the implementation of specific policies like social segregation and routine cleanliness, the corporation provided its passengers with a sense of security.
"AK1 leaves IDU (Abuja) at 09:45, KA2 leaves RIGASA (Kaduna) at 13:30, and AK3 leaves IDU (Abuja) at 1500.
"Thereafter, starting on Monday, June 5, KA2 will depart RIGASA (Kaduna) at 08:00, AK1 will depart IDU (Abuja) at 09:45, KA4 at 13:00, and AK3 at 1500.
"However, only KA2 and AK3 will leave RIGASA (Kaduna) on Wednesdays at 7:00 a.m. and 1500 p.m., respectively."
