Moses Babatope, Group CEO of Nile Entertainment, and Mo Abudu, CEO of Ebonylife Group, have collaborated to launch 'The Pods', a unique and opulent movie experience for a select audience.
In an official release, Nile Media confirmed its collaboration with the EbonyLife company to create a luxurious cinema experience in West Africa.
The alliance intends to serve the region's growing need for quality entertainment options while also encouraging growth and innovation in West Africa's cinema business, according to the release.
The Pods, billed as a "major leap forward" in the West African movie business, will provide a private and intimate setting with luxury seating, personal concierge services, and access to a handpicked selection of films for exclusive viewing.
“To capitalise on the increasing demand for high-end, personalized cinema experiences, media mogul @moabudu and Nile Group CEO @mosesbabatope have formed a strategic partnership."
Nile and EbonyLife plan to launch 10 Pods per year over the next five years.
Bukky George-Taylor, VP of Nile Cinemas, emphasised that collaborations are vital to the future of African entertainment.
