Jose Peseiro, the head coach of the Super Eagles, reportedly received $210,000 from the Nigeria Football Federation out of his pay(NFF).
According to rumors, the NFF previously owed Peseiro $700,000 (10 months' salary). According to accounts, the Portuguese was prepared to quit last year but was convinced to stay by senior Federation officials. The NFF hired the 62-year-old in May 2022, but he hasn't gotten a penny until now.
Following last Friday's loss against Guinea-Bissu for the Super Eagles, Peseiro declined to discuss his salary position. Many have called for his dismissal as the Super Eagles have struggled under his direction.
