Knight-Hennessy Scholarship Program, Stanford University, Usa 2023

The Knight-Hennessy Scholarship program is a prestigious award for national and international students who want to pursue their careers in a conducive environment to bring transformative impact in the world through leadership in their respective fields.

Who Can Apply?

  1. You can apply for Knight-Hennessy Scholarship if you are separately applying or are already enrolled in a full-time graduate degree program at Stanford which includes DMA, JD, MA, MBA, MFA, MD, MPP, MS, and PhD but is not limited to these degrees.

  1. To join the KHS cohort in 2024, you must have earned your first bachelor’s or undergraduate degree by January 2017 or later.

Eligibility Criteria for Knight-Hennessy Scholarship 2023

  1. The application should reflect and fulfill the criteria of Independence of Thought,

Purposeful Leadership, and Civic Mindset of the Applicant.

  1. There is no restriction on age, college, and field of study. Graduates from any nationality, gender, and ethnicity can apply for this scholarship.

  1. There is no minimum requirement for GPA or grade scores in the undergraduate programs for KHS, but it varies for Stanford graduate degree programs.

  1. The applicant must be newly enrolled in a Stanford full-time graduate degree program and plan to start the degree in the same year as the scholarship.

  1. If the applicants have served in the US military (active or veteran), their bachelor’s degree should be earned in January 2015 or later.

  1. All Stanford graduate programs accept TOEFL. In addition, the MBA program also accepts IELTS and PTE.

Benefits of Knight-Hennessy Scholarship USA

Knight-Hennessy program is a fully funded scholarship at Stanford, USA which offers financial grants to scholars for up to 3 years. Other benefits include:

  • Full tuition coverage and associated fees.

  • A stipend for living and educational expenses covering room and board, books, academic supplies, local transportation, instructional material, and reasonable personal expenses.

  • A travel stipend for one annual economy class ticket to and from Stanford.

  • A one-time relocation stipend.

  • Supplemental funds to support academic enrichment activities for example conference travel.

Application Opening Date

Stanford University will accept applications for Knight-Hennessy Scholarship from June 1, 2023.

How to Apply?

  • The applicants have to apply for 2 applications separately: one for the Knight-Hennessy Scholarship and the other for the Stanford University Graduate Degree program.

  • The applicant has to indicate the Stanford graduate degree program to which the applicant will apply in the Knight-Hennessy scholarship form.

  • The accompanying documents and the scholarship application should be submitted online in the English language.

  • The applicants are recommended to use the latest version of Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox while applying.

Note: Knight-Hennessy Scholarship has no application fee, but the graduate degree programs at Stanford may require an application fee.

To prepare your application for the Knight-Hennessy scholarship, you should have the following documents at the time of submission:

  • Online Application

  • Transcript(s)

  • Standardized Test Score (GRE/GMAT/MCAT/TOEFL, etc)

  • 1 Page Resume

  • 2 Recommendation Letters

  • 2 Short-Answer and Essay

The application deadline for the Knight-Hennessy Scholarship program at Stanford University, USA is  October 11, 2023, 1:00 PM Pacific Time Zone.
