Famous sportswear manufacturer, Adidas has struck an out-of-court settlement with Kanye West (also known as Ye), effectively ending all legal procedures between the two parties.
Adidas and West have been entangled in litigation over the past two years after the German brand discontinued a collaboration with the rapper over antisemitic remarks he made in 2022.
After the collaboration ended, a mountain of West's iconic Yeezy shoes remained unsold.
Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden stated, "There are no more open issues, and there is no money going either way, so we both move on."
He declined to provide any information on the transaction.
"There were tensions on many issues," he added. "When you put the claims on the right side and you put the claims on the left side, both parties said we don't need to fight anymore and withdrew all the claims."
Yeezy trainers had been a huge success for the firm and were much sought after on the used market, retailing for hundreds of pounds.
Last year, Adidas confirmed that some of the revenues from the sale of Yeezy stock, which was initially in high demand but is now being sold at a discount, will be donated to charity.
The Anti-Defamation League, the Philonise & Keeta Floyd Institute for Social Change, and Robert Kraft's Foundation to Combat Antisemitism were listed as recipients.
