The boards and CEOs of the state government entities have been immediately removed by Jigawa State Governor Umar Namadi.
In a statement issued on Wednesday in Dutse, Alhaji Muhammad Dagaceri, the Permanent Secretary, Administration and Finance, Office of the Secretary to the State Government, revealed this.
"The governor has relieved the appointments of Managing Directors, General Managers, Executive Secretaries, Chairmen, and Members of Board of Agencies/Parastatals with the exception of Commissioners," the announcement, which read in part, said, according to Dagaceri.
He did, however, stress that the instruction does not apply to professional Executive Secretaries, Managing Directors, or General Managers.
"The professional Managing Directors, General Managers, and Executive Secretaries are likewise not included in the order," he continued.
Dagaceri also instructed all impacted officials to turn over whatever government property they were in possession of to the top-ranking members of their respective organizations.
