Popular Nigerian chef Hilda Baci celebrates her success a year after breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon.
It should be noted that the event took place in Lagos. Hilda broke the 100-hour mark with the help of her approximately 100-person crew.
Hilda Baci wrote a thank you card to her supportive team for being by her side during the toughest parts of her accomplishment attempt.
She described how the event began on May 12 and finished on May 17, 2023, and announced that it would be a 5-day anniversary.
The Chef wrote: “On this day 1year ago we began the official attempt that made history. At about 5 pm on the 12th of may I turned on the gas for the very first time only to be turned off on the 17th of may 5 days later so yes we have a 5 day long anniversary and I’m here for it.
I could not have done it firstly without my team the alpha team that was the first point of contact that helped my very big dream come true so naturally the first celebration point will be the Alpha team and heads of departments.
I mean it was such a big team of about a 100 people to put the experience of the year together and I’m thankful for them every single day.”
