Paga, Nigeria's leading digital money transfer operator, has successfully processed over 335 million transactions totaling more than N14 trillion since its establishment 15 years ago.
The Founder/CEO, Tayo Oviosu, revealed this information in Lagos, highlighting that Paga now serves approximately 150 companies across various industries.
He emphasized that Paga has evolved significantly over the years and now provides a secure and convenient omnichannel payments platform for millions of users nationwide. Additionally, Paga's innovative wallet enables Nigerians to link multiple bank cards or their bank account for seamless transactions.
Oviosu also emphasized the company's contribution to job creation, having directly created over a thousand jobs and indirectly supporting 100,000 jobs in Nigeria and Africa.
He reassured customers about the security of Paga's services, highlighting their compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).
Oviosu mentioned Paga's corporate social responsibility efforts, including a partnership with Utiva to provide scholarships for women to learn in-demand tech skills.
