New York-based Fashion Entertainment company known as Fashion Entertainment Television Hub (FE TV Hub), is collaborating with Brendance and Crusader, organizers of the Mr & Miss Nigeria pageant, to host the much-anticipated reality television show to boost Nigerian fashion industry.
The fashion entertainment reality show, the first of its type, is designed to propel the country's sector into the international spotlight via reality television.
The cooperation between FeTvHub and Brendance and Crusaders aims to integrate international content into the Nigerian fashion sector by leveraging the talent of gifted Nigerian fashion designers and bringing them to the international spotlight.
While Brendan Nsikak, the founder of Brendance and Crusaders, contributes his experience and skills as technical director to the program, Bob Cal, a New York-based fashion entrepreneur and CEO of FeTvHub, gives a new perspective on fashion to revolutionize the local sector.
This year's program has three packages: fashion, entertainment, and reality television. It includes two live events: 'Fit for A King' and 'Inferno Runway'.
Fit for a King is a competition to find the best men's fashion designer. The Inferno Runway, for its part, has beachwear suited to Nigerian Indigenous Adire materials. It's a hot high-fashion event, a competition to find the nation's best beachwear designer who can express the fierce femininity that Nigerian women are recognized for.
At a press parley, Bob Cal who is in Nigeria for the show, explained the need for the collaboration on the reality television show, stating that the world cannot wait to feel the impact of the enormous talents Nigeria is blessed with. “Nigeria has a big entertainment industry.
I registered with the Fe TV Hub USA in Nigeria to transform the fashion entertainment business in the country to bring it at par with the USA and Paris fashion level,” he stated.
