Runways 18R and 36L at Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos will be closed for maintenance for eight weeks, according to the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
The agency made the notification on Monday, March 13, saying that as the taxi route B-18L will be utilized for all flight operations, regular airline operations would not be impacted.
The declaration said;
"This is to inform the public that the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos would be closed for 8 weeks in order to do maintenance work.
All flying operations will take place on taxi way B-18L.
