Businessman and socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana's Chief Priest has said that insecurity in the Southeast compelled him to shift his business to Lagos State.
He revealed this during a recent interview with BBC Igbo.
The socialite complained that customers from the East, who had previously visited home daily, had fled due to fears of kidnapping and murder.
He said: “There is widespread hunger in the South-East. It is our own community members who provide criminals with information.
“Our people began targeting the wealthy, so the wealthy stopped returning home during festivities. That’s why I moved to Lagos to conduct my business."
