Ayra Starr firmly told her detractors in a recent interview with Kiss FM to keep their opinions to themselves because they are neither her pastor nor her mother. The 'Rush' singer made it apparent that she is self-assured in her stylistic decisions and unashamedly celebrates her individuality.
"You are not my mother, you are not my pastor, you are not Jesus, she said, so keep it to yourself. I'd rather not know. I could care less."
The 20-year-old musician had previously faced criticism for her distinctive fashion choices. The artist received criticism for her attire in August 2022, and some questioned whether she owned any respectable clothing.
