Atunyota Akpobome aka Alibaba, a well-known comic and businessman, has stated that Mark Angel is one of Nigeria's highest-paid comedians.

Many people, according to the experienced comedy act, find it difficult to believe Mark Angel earns around $300,000 every month.

Alibaba Reveals Mark Angel's Monthly Returns From Comedy

Alibaba made the statement during a conversation with OAP Nedu, Husband Material, Toun, and Ezinne on the Honest Bunch podcast.

He claims that most of the comedian's fortune stems from material and ad revenue generated by social media sites such as YouTube and Facebook.

According to the comic, those who pay for the services provided by content makers such as Mark Angel are well aware of the value they bring.

He went on to say that many people associate content creators' money with a wealthy spouse or family member, diminishing the person's hard work.

Alibaba recalls earning his first million in 1995 when he was paid N1.6 million for an alcohol brand tour.

“You know some people still don’t believe that Mark Angel is one of the richest comedians until somebody then hears how much YouTube, Facebook pay him every month.

You will hear somebody [Mark] is making close to 300,000 dollars every month, and you are like ‘is it not that guy that wears big knickers?
