For the census in 2023, the National Population Commission has provided a report.
The Commission announced that all preparations are on track to start building tagging and household listing by April 17, prior to the start of the actual census exercise in May.
It also stated that from April 25 to April 30, 2023, there would be five days of instruction for enumerators.
Alhaji Sa'eed Yusuf, the NPC's Kwara state director, made this announcement on Wednesday in Ilorin, according to the News Agency of Nigeria.
Building numbering and family listing would take place across the country, according to Yusuf.
He also mentioned that logistics issues prevented the instruction of enumerators for this year's Census from happening on March 31 as originally planned.
Between April 25 and April 30, "enumerators and supervisors will receive five days of training in their respective Local Government Areas to ensure the success of the exercise," Yusuf said.
