Singer Yemi Alade has chastised the Lagos state administration over the recent demolition of properties that are believed to be on the right of way of water channels.
The state Ministry of Environment and Water Resources has recently demolished a large number of dwellings.
On Saturday, May 4, the Ministry demolished a few houses in the Mende area of the state, with some residents claiming thaYemi stated that the demolitions are destroying the real estate value of the state and Nigeria as a wholet they were only given two hours' notice before the demolition.
In a video published, Yemi stated that the demolitions are destroying the real estate value of the state and Nigeria as a whole, as people will be afraid to invest in the country for fear that their investments will be demolished later.
