According to reports, the third group of stranded Nigerians, totaling 132, is anticipated to arrive in the nation today (Saturday).
On Wednesday night, 376 evacuees landed in Nigeria from Egypt.
130 evacuees from the second group arrived in the nation on Friday from Port Sudan.
Abdulrahman Balogun, the spokesperson for the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, reported that 132 Nigerian citizens, including 124 adults and eight newborns, boarded the Tarco aircraft in Port Sudan at 7:20 a.m. Sudanese local time.
Balogun further said that "the seven-hour trip is likely to arrive at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at around 1.30 and 2 pm.
The aircraft will stop in Juba, South Sudan, for one hour.
