Queen Camilla has once again visited her husband, King Charles III, as he continues his hospitalization at The London Clinic in central London for corrective prostate surgery. The monarch has spent three days under medical care for the condition.
Admitted to the hospital on Friday, King Charles III's condition, an enlarged prostate, was disclosed by officials, who confirmed it to be benign.
Camilla departed from the hospital grounds in a black Audi, leaving around 3:10 pm (1510 GMT). A small group of well-wishers gathered on the pavement, offering support and best wishes to the royal couple during this challenging time.
In addition to King Charles III, the Princess of Wales is also undergoing treatment at the west London hospital, recuperating from planned abdominal surgery.
Addressing reporters on Friday, the Queen expressed gratitude, stating, “He’s doing well, thank you,” when asked about her husband's condition.
A spokesman from Buckingham Palace previously conveyed the monarch's appreciation for the outpouring of well-wishes and noted the positive impact of his diagnosis on public health awareness.
King Charles III has received warm wishes from UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak as he undergoes treatment, reflecting the widespread concern and support for the royal family during this period of medical care. Warm wishes have also poured in from notable British citizens.
It is expected that King Charles will be discharged early this week, but His Majesty could take up to a month off from public duties following the procedure.
