Peter Okoye, the famed Psquare duo's vocalist, and dancer, has revealed the truth behind the rumors that he arranged the EFCC's detention of his twin brother Paul.

Recall that the story, which rocked the nation months ago, saw rumors of Paul and their elder brother Jude Okoye being apprehended by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in December 2023, causing social media to explode.

Paul moved to Instagram to defend his innocence, claiming that his fortune was obtained via nothing but fantastic music, not the murky activities that others have speculated about.

In his most recent heated post, Peter angrily denied ever targeting his twin brother, admitting that his true gripe was with their older brother, Jude.

According to Peter, it was Jude who had been secretly siphoning off Psquare’s hard-earned money, funneling it into hidden accounts with the help of his wife. Peter insists he never intended to drag Paul into the legal battle. The singer said he had explicitly instructed his lawyers to keep Paul out of the petition, as his quarrel was solely with Jude.
