American Singer and Rapper Nicki Minaj has canceled and postponed her performance at a festival in Romania due to safety concerns.
The American rapper was scheduled to perform on Sunday night at Bucharest's Saga Festival.
She added, nevertheless, that she had been advised to make "sound decisions" in light of the "protests in the area" to ensure that she could return home to her son and her team's families.
"Well-being of our team and myself" was her motivation for acting, she claimed.
She still hopes to play this Friday at the Wireless Festival in London.
In a post on X, Minaj said: "Out of concern for the well-being of our team and myself, I have been advised by my security detail not to travel to Romania's festival tonight due to safety concerns regarding protests in the area.
"I look forward to seeing you all at another time."
