Jerome Rothen, a former midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain, has advised Neymar to quit the squad, claiming that the Brazilian is a failure there like his teammate Lionel Messi.
This follows a recent gathering of PSG supporters in front of Neymar's home in Bougival, Paris. The 31-year-old is out until the end of the season after having ankle surgery, and PSG supporters demonstrated against him.
The former Barcelona player must leave, according to Rothen (via RMC Sport).
"He must depart given everything that has recently occurred. It went too far, and now you can see that PSG fans, PSG aficionados, and even I as a fan, see far too many flaws and there is a ras-le-bol. They demonstrated it yesterday and will do so again.
"Neymar has been there for six years and has had opportunities every year for the past five years. He is unsuccessful, just like Messi. So I say "Goodbye."
