American Rapper Nicki Minaj has achieved a noteworthy legal triumph by settling with Marley Green, a social media influencer known by her online identity "Nosey Heaux," concerning a defamation case.
As part of the settlement, Green must publicly apologize, acknowledge that she misled people regarding Minaj, and swear not to bring up the rapper ever again to drug usage.
Minaj filed the complaint in September 2022 in response to a video that Green shared, in which Green made an untrue allegation that Minaj was "shoving all this cocaine up her nose."
According to court records that TMZ was able to get, the settlement required Green to admit that her claims regarding Minaj misusing or consuming cocaine were wholly untrue and unsupported by any proof.
Furthermore, the settlement bars Green from making any further comments about Minaj's husband, Kenneth Petty, or their son.
Green is also prohibited from retweeting or sharing any content that suggests Minaj is involved in illegal or unethical activities.
Should Green violate the terms of the agreement, she will be liable to pay Minaj $50,000 for each offense.
This settlement marks a clear win for Minaj, who has taken a strong stance against what she described as "vile" and baseless allegations.
