The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) has announced the upcoming Digital Nigeria International Conference & Exhibition (DNICE) 2024, set to take place from October 22 to 24, 2024.

In partnership with Brevity Anderson, the DNICE aims to gather global leaders, industry experts, and policymakers under the theme, 'Empowering a Digital Future.'

The conference will serve as a platform for dialogue and collaboration as Nigeria continues its advancement towards becoming a prominent digital economy.

Guests can expect a packed agenda featuring keynote speeches, panel discussions, workshops, and exhibitions, all designed to promote the growth of Nigeria’s digital landscape.

Spokesperson for NITDA, Mrs Hadiza Umar, said the key highlights would include high-level sessions led by esteemed speakers in government and academia, where they would discuss digital transformation and emerging technologies.

Additionally, panel discussions will tackle vital issues such as the Nigerian Startup Act, cybersecurity, fintech innovations, and the implications of AI and blockchain for economic development.

The event will also provide workshops and masterclasses focusing on hands-on experiences in areas such as coding, data analytics, and digital entrepreneurship.

Exhibitions will showcase the latest technologies and innovations, reflecting Nigeria’s vibrant tech ecosystem.

The theme, 'Empowering a Digital Future' aligns with the Nigerian government’s Renewed Hope Agenda, emphasising the critical role of digital technologies in fostering economic growth and improving citizens’ lives.

As part of the conference, NITDA plans to introduce initiatives aimed at boosting digital literacy and innovation, as well as recognising outstanding startups from the Digital Nigeria Hackathon 2024.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry leaders and explore partnerships that could further advance Nigeria’s digital economy.

The conference is open to stakeholders worldwide who wish to participate in shaping the nation’s digital future.
