Nigeria's Super Eagles have fallen five spots in the most recent FIFA world standings.
The Super Eagles are currently ranked as the 40th best side in FIFA's April rankings, which were released on Thursday.
Recall that in the December rankings, Nigeria was the 31st best team in the globe.
However, Morocco is presently ranked first in Africa and the 11th best team in the world, while Jose Peseiro's team is currently sixth.
Senegal, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, and Nigeria are following Morocco.
The best squad in the world, though, is Argentina, which is followed in the top 10 by France, Brazil, Belgium, England, Netherlands, Croatia, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.
Morocco, Switzerland, the United States, Germany, Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia, Senegal, Denmark, and Japan are other nations that made the list between places 11 and 20.
