Big Brother Naija's reality star, Mercy Eke, has been hospitalized after a lavished party with friends on a yacht. 

The reality star's video update from the hospital ward went viral on social media. 

She dropped a surprise on her followers on her Snapchat channel, expressing her shock at finding herself in the hospital less than a day after going public. 

She realized the unpredictability of life and gratefully thanked her creator for His loving kindness, despite her mind racing with contradictory ideas of the worst-case scenario. 

Mercy reminded everyone not to take good health for granted and underlined how important it is. 

Mercy urged her followers to put aside their negativity and embrace positivity by dropping some very important truth bombs. 

The Reality TV celebrity advised against squandering time and effort on negative feelings such as remorse, regret, anxiety, and resentment, emphasizing how they only serve to steal joy and fulfilment from our lives. 

Posting a clip from a hospital bed, Mercy Eke wrote; ‘’Don’t waste your time in anger, regrets, worries and grudges. LIFE IS TOO SHORT to be unhappy. Who would have thought that I would end up in a hospital barely 24 hours after I was seen outside?
