Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, is a well-known Nigerian singer who has postponed all of her performances in the United States due to illness.
Additionally, the singer was scheduled to appear at the "Something In The Water Concert" in Virginia City with Busta Rhymes, ASAP Rocky, and a slew of other top performers.
Ayra Starr revealed the news on Sunday night in a statement posted to her Instagram story, saying her doctor had ordered urgent bed rest for her.
She expressed regret for being unable to make it to her eagerly awaited performance and promised her supporters she will return in a unique way.
She wrote: “DC, VA and Houston your girl is going through it. My doctor has advised me to slow down, hence I’m on immediate bed rest.
“So sorry I could not meet every one of you as planned. Also, I’m sorry you feel let down but I promise to be back in a special way for you when we will have a magical time. I appreciate your prayers and well wishes.”
